I really liked this story. It was interesting and it had some surprises which kept me motivated to keep reading in spite of the obvious flaws. But the editing was horrible. Punctuation was poor making it difficult to understand a sentence without re-reading it several times. Verb tense and sentences actually missing a verb were confusing, and again I found myself re-reading a sentence 3 or 4 times just to figure out what the author was trying to say. It is not enjoyable to read a book with so many editing errors. As much as I liked the characters, the plot and the suspense, I will not pay for more of this series. I may not be the best writer, but I am not charging people to read what I write. If I get the next book in the series at the library or for free, I would probably read it, but I won't spend my hard earned money to be frustrated.
